1. What is meant by the term “cookies”?

Our Website generates “trace files” or “cookies” to offer you a unique browsing experience. 

Cookies are small text files, likely to be recorded in a dedicated space of the hard drive of your terminal (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.), which can be used by websites for a better user experience. They cover all technical connection and history data of the actions carried out by a user of our Website. 

Generally, these trace files record information relating to browsing on our Website, which can be read during subsequent visits. These files are likely to conserve information, such as pages viewed, the date and time of the viewing, the times, connection durations and the place of origin of the communications, the IDs of the connection (IP address, mac address, etc.), the tracers deposited and/or read, for example, during the viewing of a website, of the reading of an email, of the installation or of the use of a piece of software or a mobile app, except however for any data based on the content of correspondences exchanged or information viewed. Cookies also allow, within our Website, your automatic identification without having to re-enter your username and your password at each connection. 

Our Website has different types of cookies:

• for statistical purposes for analysing our traffic;

Some are placed by third-party services websites which appear on our pages. 

These files are essential to the administration of the systems and are used to fix the malfunctions of the Website or IT systems used. They do not include ID information about our users. If you want to fully use the functionalities of our Website, the installation of certain so-called operational cookies, is necessary. However, this operation will lead to the removal of cookies used by the browser, which can lead to the loss of certain information or settings.

The law stipulates that we can only store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of our Website. For all other types of cookies, we need your permission. At any time, you can change or remove your consent as soon as the declaration is made relating to the cookies on our Website, or later in your parameters. 

The use of our Website is not done totally anonymously. In application of decree no. 2006-358 of 24 March 2006 relating to the conservation of data of electronic communications, traffic data must be kept for one (1) year from the date of it being recorded. Moreover, in the scope of a legal procedure, these files must be made available legally, “for research, observation needs, and the needs of pursuing criminal offences”. An extract of these files will thus be coupled with the extract of the database of the users in question. The other data collected such as subscription information are regularly removed when they are no longer necessary. According to the evolution of legislation, other information can be archived. Users will be immediately advised about this.

If we must otherwise use the information relating to you collected by us, you will inform you about this, at the time of collection, or we will ask you for your authorisation.
